Highlands County Libraries closure notice for December 22-25, 2024, including outside returns, with reopening info.
Highlands County Libraries and the outside returns will be closed for the Christmas holiday from Sunday, December 22 to Wednesday, December 25. Libraries and outside returns will reopen on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.

Libraries and returns will reopen on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. The therapy dogs will be at Avon Park at 11 a.m. on Thursday and at Lake Placid on Friday at 11 a.m. Tech help will be offered on Thursday at Lake Placid from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and on Friday at Sebring from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and at Avon Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. S.T.E.A.M is planned for Lake Placid on Thursday at 3 p.m. and at Sebring on Friday at 3:45 p.m.. Avon Park will host Read for a Treat on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and story time on Saturday at 11 a.m.
